AUCKLAND CIVIL SITTINGS
Auckland, yesterday, The civil sifliogs of the Supreme Court commenced this) morning and all the business was concluded in half an hour most of the cases being adjomaed till the July sittings. The following business was deposed ef. Frederick Hyde v John Wood. -Claim £500, damages, for loss of an ovo.~Mr W. J. Napier appeared for the plaintiff and Mr Hesteth for the defendant. It was stated by Mr Napier that a settlement of tho matter was now being arrangod, and the case was allowed to stand over till tho July sittings. Earnest Edward Funko v. Charles Agustus Funko and others.—This was an action of dissolution of partnership.—Mr Theo. Cooper appeared for the plaintiff and Dr Laishloy, instructed by Mr F. J. Hammond, for the defendant Cbarleß Funke. By agreement Ilis Hbnot granted a decree dissolving the partnership nfrom tho Ist Jime, 1888, accounts to be takon before tho Registrar; question of costs reserved. Thomas Russell v. Hamora Mangakahia. action to recover £G7 18s Id. amount of dishonoured p.n,—Adjourned till July sittings, dofendant to pay £2 2s cosst. Charles Kay and , others v, the Waihi G.M, Co., claim £144 IBs 6d for wages, and countor claim'for £19,—Adjourned till next sitting,
