The inquiry into tho bursting of the reservoir at Johnstown concluded to-day, when a verdict was returned that the accident was caused by the criminal negligence of the ownerß, The lives of the latter wore seriously menaced by the mob. All dangerfof a pestilence breaking out is now averted.' Tho amount tubscribed in aid of the oufforers is found to bo inadequate for pressing wants.
