AUCKLAND BOUND VESSEL IN COLLISION.
Towed to Spithead in a Sinking Condition. . BY CABLE-PKKS3 ASSOCIATION, (Received February 7th, 9.30 p.m.} London, February 7. The barque Largo Bay, bound for Auckland, cams inte collision with a steadier in tho channel. It is believed that the 3teamer went down immsdiately, with all hands, as nothing lias been seen of' her after she struck. A passing, steamer jjickod up the barque, and towed her to Spithead in a sinking condition. One of the apprentices was drowned. LATEE, Feared One Hundred Lives LostC London, February 7. It is feared that a hundred Jived hare been lost by tho sinking of the steamer which collided with the barque Largo Bay in the channel.
