THE WELLINGTON WATCH ROB BERIES.
(BY TaEGKAPH.-fKK&S ASSOCIATION,) Wellington, last night, The clotoctivo hue recovered the second of the gold watches which was stolen from the bedrooms of lodgers at the Empire Hotel on the 28th of last month. The watch was discovered (i plantod" in a rather peculiar recoptnoio oainely, in a jam tin, which was secreted amongst some fiirxe on the Terrace, This afternoou a man named Rooke was brought before the R.M., and v. as identified ia each case by tlio owners. The accused was remanded till Monday.
