WARDEN'S COURT.-Yestebday. (Before W. Fbaseb, Esq., E.M.)
Chables Jenkins v._ Cox and Others. —This was a plaint laid by Charles Jenkins, a miner, against Cox and others, the registered owners of a claim named the John Bull, situated at Tararu Creek, in which he prays that the said claim be forfeited on the ground that it is not properly manned; also that an order be made authorising him to take possession of the said claim.—Plaintiff deposed that he was a miner residing at Tararu. _ He held a miner's right (produced). Witness knew the John JBull claim at Tararu Creek. It had not been properly worked or manned lately. Witness wished to get possession of it.-Frederick J. Burgess, clerk of the Warden's Court, produced (for the Mining Registrar) the register of the John Bull claim. It was dated 6th of February, 1876.-An order wa3 made that the claim be forfeited, and that the plaintiff be empowered to take possession.
