THE THAMES COUNTY.
It would appear that matters in:connection with the Thames coiwty boundariesaronot in quite so satisfactory T a position as wo have been led to suppose by the message forwarded by Sir George Grey to Dr Kilgour, and the Press Agency telegram which appeared in yesterday's issue. The striking out of the Piako county from the schedule appears to have boen accomplished, and half has been allotted to the Thames county, but it appears that strong efforts wore anticipated towards reinstating the Piako county on the schedule, and Mr Bowe thinks it incumbent that tho Thames people should express themselves strongly on the question. The' following telegram was received by Mr Dean from Mr Bowe yesterday Grey and self succeeded in getting Piako. county struck out of schedule, half given to Thames, but strong efforts will be made to-morrow to reinstate it. Thames peoplo should spaak strongly at once. No time to be lost. Seo Brodio, Macdonald, Eilgour, and telegraph. Important.—W.BoWfi."
