THE BIRTHDAY CUP,. VALUE £50. This will be competed for in three running handicaps of 100 jards, 300 yards,-and 880 yards. ' . For running first in any of the races 6 points will be allowed, for running second i points, and for running third 2 points. The Competitor scoring the highest total o points in the three races will receive the first prize, £25 in money, and a Valuable Silver Cup presented by Mr Joswn.Ellis, Exchange Hotel, Queen-street, A second aggregate prize of £8, and u third of £5 will also bo given. In addition to the aggregate prizes, first and second prizes of £3 and £1 respectively will be awarded at each distance. Any ono entering under a false name will be disqualified.
