Superintendent's Office, Auckland, 28th July, 1875. r {IS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he lias made the following AMENDMENTS in the Regulations for tho granting of Agricultural Leases within the Ohinemuri Ctoldficld, VINCENT E. RICE, For tho Provincial Secretary. Clause 17 [Rent to k paid in advance), to bo read as follows':—"The rent per acre to be 1 reserved upon every lease shall fce nt the annual rate of one shilling for the first seven years, one shilling and sixpence for tho second seven years, and two shillings for the last seven years; and all rents or moneys payable under or in respect of any lease shall be duo and paid annually in advance to the Receiver of Gold Revenue on the first day of January in each year of the term of lease. Provided always that one year's full rent shall be paid at the time of issue on all leases issued prior to the thirtieth day of 'June in any one year, and one half-year's rent shall be-paid on leases issued subsequent to the thirtieth day of June in any year."
