POLICE COURT.—Yesterday.

Dbuxkenness.—Jauies Glasgow, who was charged with being drunk and inca> pable, forfeited bail, and John Rosser or Russell, was convictod of having been drunk and disorderly in Albert-atreet, and was fined 20s, or in default 48 hours' imprisonment. tfamo defendant was also charged under the Vagrant Act with being a habitual drunkard, having beeu three times convicted of drunkenness within three months, Mr Bullen slated that accused appeared incorrigible. '1 hero woro twenty previous conviotions recorded against him, aud the last tirno ho was before the Court was when suffering from delirium tremens ho was charged with_ luuaoy, Ho was then cautioned that if he was brought up again ho would bo punished soverely. Aocuaed pleaded to bo let off, to get, ono moro trial for reformation, and his' Worship, after remonstrating with him, let him go on the understanding that if ho was brought up again ho would givo him 12 months' imprisonment,
