Warden's Office, Thames, April.l4th, 1875. APPLICATION lias been made by W. 0. Wright for a LICENSE to Construct a Water Kace for mining purposes, commencing at a point on the Creek or Diver, being the first main Creek to the eastward of the ground applied for under License, known as the Prospectors' Claim, Tairua, about half-a-mile; above the south boundary of tlu said Claim, produced eastward, and terminating at a point above the said Creek or River on the Prospectors' Bide, about half-a-mile below the northern boundary of the said Claim, produced eastward. The length of such Race being one mile and a-balf, or thereabouts; its intended course is northward and eastward. The mean breadth and depth of such Race is two feet by one foot; it is capable of carrjing Five sluiceheads of water, and the number of sluiceheads, of forty inches each, which it is proposed to appropriate, is Five. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 27th day of May, 1875, a License will be granted to the Baid W. 0. Wriohi for the above-described Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at. this office not less thau seven clear days before that date, W. FRASER, Warden. APPLICATION has been made by Francis Davkin for a License to construct a Water Race for mining purposes, commencing at a point on the Creek or River being the first main Creek to the eastward of the Prospectors' Claim, Tairua, about half-amile above the southern boundary produced eastward, and terminating at a point above the said Creek or River about half-amile below the northern boundary of the said claim produced eastward. The length of the said Race being a mile and a-half or thereabouts, and its intended course is northward and eastward. The mean depth of such Race is two feet by one foot. It is capable of carrying five sluice-heads of water, and the number of sluice-heads, of forty inches each, which it is proposed to appropriate, is five. NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 27th day of May, 1875, a License will be granted to the said Fra>cis Datkin for the abivedescribed Water Race, unless valid'objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this (ffice not less than seven clear days before that date. % FRASER, Warden. Beeche for a License to construct a Water Race for mining purposes commencing at a point on the first main Creek east of the Prospectors' Claiir, kuown as Neeves' Creek, Tairua, markel A on plan, and terminating at a point marked B on said plan, being about quarter of a mile from the eastern boundary of the Prospectors' Claim. The length of such Race is 500 yards or thereabouts, and its intended course is north ivaid and eastward. The mean breadth and depth of such Race is about 3 feet by 3 feet. It is capable of canying five sluice-heads of water, and the number of sluice-heads which it is proposed to appropriate is five, NOTICE is therefore 'given, that on the 27th day of May, 1875, a License will be granted to the said John B. Bkeohb for the abovedescribed Water Race, unless valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at t'lis office not less than seven clear days before that date. W. The length of Buch Race is two miles and a-half, or thereabouts; and its intend d course is south-south-wear. The mean breadth and depth of such Race is 2 feet by 1 foot; it is capable of carrying Five s'uice-heads cf water, and the number of Bluice-hcads it is proposed to appropriate is Five, NOTICE is therefore given, that on the 27th day of May, 1875, a Lic.nso will be granted to the said John Cook for the above-described Water Kace, unlets valid objection be in the meantime made in writing and lodged at this office not less than seven clear days beforo that date.
