LABOUR DAY SPORTS.
POSTPONED UNTIL SATURDAY. Owing to the very unfavourable state of tbe weather this morning the committee controlling the Labour Day sports meeting which was to have, been held at Pukekura Park, decided to postpone the fixture until Saturday. All the arrangements had been completed and a good programme .arranged, which promised an excellent day’s pleasure for everybody who should attend. The programme as originally arranged will be carried out - in its entirety on Saturday next, commencing' at 11 a.m. The dance at the Coronation Hall tonight will be held as advertised.
