WATERSIDE WORKERS.

MORE MONEY WANTED. Per Press Association. * WELLINGTON, August 23-. The watersiders still decline to unload the superphosphate brought by tiip Japanese steamer last week unless they are paid an additional rate equal to what they receive for handling Red Sea manure. The shipowners refuse to accede to the demand and have not called for labour to discharge the three coal laden vessels now in port. The watersiders are willing to discharge the coal, but not the superphosphates. The shipowners insist that the watersiders shall handle both kinds of cargo at the usual rates or none at all.

Owing to the shortage of electrical current duo to coal supplies running out the. picture theatres will have to close up this afternoon and evening.
