DAMAGES OF £IOOO. Per Press Association. AVELLINGTON, August 23. Anne Olsen was awarded £IOOO damages in respect of the loss of her son. Albert Olson, a telegraph linesman, who was electrocuted while erecting a telephone line on Tinakori Hill, The Crown moved for a new' trial on the ground that the verdict was against the weight* of evidence.
