Adamson and Mr. Harry Gosling (the two British Labour leaders who were expelled from Prance, where they wont as a delegation) went to France to explain British Labour’s policy and decisions regarding Russia, There was no intention of dictating to the French workers, or interfering in France’s policy. Tho council extends thanks to the French Government for being mainly responsible for securing unity of action , by the French-Socialist Party and the TVenoh Confederation of Labour. The latter has telegraphed to the council regretting the treatment of the visiting delegates, and assuring British workers of the fraternal collaboration of the French against war.—Aus.-N.Z.
