(Coalition-Unionist member for Harrow) thought tho Government made a bad bargain, although someone made a lot of money out of the transaction. Colonel Wilson, for tho Government, quoted figures showing that Australia would benefit to tho extent of 14s a ton on phosphates, and New Zealand would benefit oven . more.
