TO-MORROW’S MATCH. To-morrow’s match between tho Taranaki and Hawke’s Bay representative fifteens promises to be one of ' the most interesting matches seen here foe. some time, and the fact that it is the first representative match to bo played hero this season also adds to its interest. *AII that is needed now to ensure a capital game is a continuance of the present weather, which is having a splendid effect on tho ground, which should bo in first-class condition tomorrow afternoon.

Tlio visiting team is a good one, and may be relied upon to give a good account of itself. The Taranaki®representatives have improved in form since their earlier games this season, and their {recent tour north has added to their confidence in, and understanding of each other. They may therefore ho counted upon to give a good exhibition of Rugby. Tho match will take place at 2.45 o’clock, at Pukekura Park. For tho convenience of pountry visitors the afternoon train from Now Plymouth will not leave town until five o’clock. The black and white team (Hawke’s Bay) is as follows;

Referee; Mr. Seafle. High School D v. Star. Referee: Mi-. Day. AUCKLAND COLLEGE MATCH. The second match of the season between tho King’s College and Grammar School teams was played at Auckland on Saturday afternoon, and resulted in a win for Grammar School by 12 points to 9. Tho Grammar School team had improved considerably since they played King’s College on Juno 26, and their backs handled the ball particularly well, especially during the concluding stages (the Herald says). They gave some fine exhibitions of passing, while their forwards also played well. King’s College showed to advantage in tho early stages, but were outplayed in the second half. Their backs did not combine as effectively as on the previous occasion, when they won by 14 points to 3, but their forwards played a good solid game. Towards the close of tho season Grammar School play Now Plymouth Bovs’ High School at New Plymouth.
