Andrew Fisher (High Commissioner for Australia) welcomed the Olympic team and presented Mr. Bennett with an Australian ensign. He wished the- team success in their enterprise. Mr. Hunter complimented the team' on their physique, emphasising that there was growing up in tho southern .eas a strong, virile race. ' Mr. Bennett thanked Mr. Fisher and said that every man m the team was a champion, imbued with the desire to uphold Australia at Antwerp.-Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
