WEST COAST DEMANDS.
PARLIAMENTARY DEPUTATION. Per Press Association. WESTPORT, June 18. The Parliamentary party, which is touring the West Coast, arrived in Westport this evening. It was met en route by deputations at Inangahna Junction and inspected the Duller Gorg3 coal fields and the railway. Each member was presented with a nugget won from the Duller River and a block of coal taken from a none in the Duller Gorge. The party was accorded a ciyic reception' at the Town Hall and interviewed on several subjects, namniy; The Buller Gorge railway; The Harbour Board revenues, as detrimentally affected by the Finance Act of 1915; State forests, as affecting Buller and Inangahua Counties, in seeing that the revenues from those come to the counties and did not go into the general funds of the Government.
