INSURANCE OFFICERS’ GUILD. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Juno ID. An Insurance Officers’ Guild has been formed with 900 members as a result of a conference just concluded at AVcllington. PROPOSED FARMERS’ ENTERPRISES. INVERCARGILL, June 18. The provincial conference of the Farmers’ Union to-day was. addressed by Messrs. J. M'Pherstm and AV. J. AVaters, of tho AVheafc Control Board, on tho urgent necessity of increasing tho Dominion’s wheat production. Tho conference affirmed tho desirability of establishing co-oporntivo woollen mills and freezing works in tho province and expressed itself in favour of tho proposal to utilise tho surpjus wool profits for tho establishment, of a producers’ shipping lino. GISBORNE TO NAPIER BY AIR. GISBORNE, Juno 19. Tho first aerial flight from Gisborne to Napier,’ commenced at 11.35 this morning, when a Do Hnviland machine belonging to the Now Zealand Flying School_ (Pilot Bolt, with Air. F. M. Hutchinson a.s a passenger), loft. Tim weather is dull but calm.
