A conference of Irish delegates to the National Union of Rail way men passed a resolution declaring that the present murders and outrages were inevitable, as the result of the Government's policy of not governing Ireland in accordance with the wishes of its people. The resolution adds; “We condemn the outrages by all parties, and appeal to the Irish people to protect human life and property. We appeal to the Government to prevent provocation by sending munitions to Ireland.” The resolution asks Mr. Lloyd George to receive an Irish deputation to-morrow, which may make proposals enabling a solution to be reached.— Aus.-N.Z.
