TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB.

MONTHLY MEETING. The committee of the Taranaki Jockey Club mot on Tuesday evening. Present: Messrs. L. A. Nolan (in the chair), IV. C. Weston, 0. W. Sole, IV. Nicoll, G, Fraser, L. B. Webster, A. R. Standish. J. M'Lcod, IV. Hookham and B. H. Chaney. An apology for absence was received from Mr. E. F. Blundell. The Borough Council wrote stating that it had been decided to asphalt the eastern side of Goyer Street instead of tarring each side.—lt was decided to inform the council that the club had honed that each side could ho asphalted. but if only ono side was to bo done it should be the eastern side. Tlio annual meeting of the club was fixed for July 26. It was decided to build additional stabling, too same to bo completed in time .for the Christmas meeting.
