PRISONER COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Juno 9. In the Police Court, Arthur Symons, aged 21, who arrived from Wellington six weeks ago, admitted that he had since lived on the proceeds of theft. He had broken into six Auckland warehouses and stolen potty cash, in one instanfc £l6 in addition to cheques and promissory notes for £260, which he did not attempt to cash. He committed two burglaries on one night and was found on the promises of the Totara Timber Co. when the workmen arrived at 7 o’clock in the morning and was arrested. He pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence In the meantime he was sent to Palmerston North to answer four burglary charges there.
