THE AUCKLAND SPORTS. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, Jan. 11. Tiie Auckland Motor Cycle Sports Club held a successful meeting on. the Takapuna racecourse on Saturday. The crowd was treated to some thrills by Coleman, the Palmerston North crack, who established a world’s record on grass in tho Great Northern Championship, covering the distance of 15 miles and 150 yards in 13 minutes dead. 1 Coleman, from a flying start, also broke the mile record on grass, covering the distance in 49 3-osec.
