ASSASSINS STILL AT WORK. LONDON, Jan. 8. An unknown person fired a revolver at Sir Alfred Dobbin, ex-High Sheriff of Cork, who will be remembered for the famous fight he put up against twelve of the Larkin Irish transporters in Dublin.
