A CHILD DROWNED. PeraPress Association. AUCKLAND, Dec. 10. Tho body of a child named Margaret Marion Dunn, aged twenty months, was found floating in the harbour off Ponsonby this morning. The child was last, peon playing in the garden of its parents’ home near the waterfront. Flow tbo deceased camo to get into the harbour is not known. A FARAIER’S SUICIDE. AUCKLAND, Dec. 10. A married man named James Thomas Marshall Cookson, a. farmer, aged 49 years, was found hanging by a rope from a rafter in an outhouse at his residence in New Lynn to-day. The discovery was made by deceased’s wife.
