TRAMWAYMEN’S DISPUTE.

PROBABLE ACTION OF MEN. . Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Deo. 9. Following tho failure of the recent national conference to secure a settlement of tho tramwaymon’s dispute, the meh are now considering their future policy. Although no definite information is available, it is understood that just prior to the general election the Wellington men will decline to work any overtime. It is stated that similar tactics will be adopted in all other centres. The men emphasise the fact that the recent conference broke up without discussing general conditions and did not get beyond the wages issue.
