NEW 7 PLYMOUTH v. HAWERA.

A match was played at Hawera on Saturday between Hawera and New Plymouth and ended in a w.n ior the visitors by a substantial margin ot points. The weather was showery during the morning, but cleared' in the afternoon, but a lairlv strong wind Blew all day. The visitors were nospaab.y entertained, lunch being provided by tile Hawera Club, whilst the ladies provided morning aud afternoon tea. _ Details of the play were as follows, New Plymouth being mentioned first:—
