BANNER MATCHES. CENTRAL DIVISION. INGLEWOOD y. ELTHAM. In a banner match between Inglewood and Eitham at Eltham, Inglewood won by 14 points, the totals being 76—62. The rink scores were (Inglewood being mentioned first) as follows; Spurdle 24 v. Drayton 20; Wilson 21 v. Carter 23; Morton 31 v. Castle 19. HAWERA v. STRATFORD. This match was played at Hawera, the home team winning, by 120 to 119. Tho end of the game was remarkable. With all rinks finished except J. S. M'Donald v. Grant, which had one head to play, Stratford had a lead on tho aggregate of 5 points. Maslin’s two howls scored for Hawera, and Parkes put in a third. MTherson, for Stratford, drew second shot, but this was cleverly rested out by Sponce, and Hawera lay four. Spence’s second bowl was also a counter. Nicholson tried running shots, which failed. Grant’s first bowl was put at the back. M'Donold failed with a drive, and Grant drew sixth shot. M'Donald then tried to save and brushed Hawera’s third bowl, but had a bit too much running and passed through a "port, and Hawora marked up six and the game. Tho rink totals wore as follows (Stratford skips being mentioned first) :—Sharp 11 v. Foy 29; Sangster 24 v. Parkinson 19 ; M'.Alillan 14 v. Corkill 22; J. S. M'Donald 29 v. Grant 19; AV. M'Donald 20 v. Hollard 18; King 30 v. Hicks 13. WESTERN DIVISION. PIHAMA v. OPUNAKE. Pihama proved too good for Opnnake on Wednesday, tho game resulting in a win for them by 27 points. Scores were as follows (Opnnake being mentioned first in each instance) :—Judson 17 v. Mason 34; Des Forges 23 v. Julian 22; Burton 16 v. AV. Lambie 27. AUROA v. MANAIA. Tho match was played at Auroa.,, Manaia winning by 122 points to 50. Details were as follows (Auroa being mentioned first)Castle 18 v. ■ Kirk 15; Bradford 17 v. J. Christie 19; Buxton 6 v. H.
