j Thera was a good yarding of stock , for Mr. Newton King’s sale on Wednesday, December 3. . The chief feature of the sale was the demand for store cows and sheep. In other lines the sale, though most of the stock yarded found buyers, entailed hard work on'the part of the auctioneer. Prices worth note include shorn forward ewes 295, wethers in wool 365, shorn mixed aged wethers 245, springing heifers from £8 10s to £l2 16s, cows dose to profit £l3, heifers as high as £ll, a line of 4-year Jersey bullocks in forward condition £l2 2s 6d, store cows up to £9 2s ■ and bulls from £4 5s to £l3, ¥
