MURDER. OF DETECTIVE. IN DUBLIN STREET. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received Deo. 5„ 1.50 p.m.) DUBLIN. Dec. 2. Barton's was the 14th police murder during 1919. He was young and popular and recently transferred to the political section of the detective force. It is believed the murderer tracked him through the crowded streets towards the Central Police Station, whither Barto nwas proceeding. He fired four shots in College Street, one penetrating Barton’s hack.
