Tho meeting of the associations for promoting tho work of the League of Nations is attended by delegates from all tho nations except America and the Central Rowers. Tho hope has boon expressed that the American Senate’s decision would not postpone an early meeting of the league. The Italian delegates deplored tho wave of anarchy sweeping over tho world, especially . over Italy. They urged an early meeting of the league, otherwise they might see the whole of Europe aflame. M. Bourgeois, on behalf of France, urged the hastening of league operations. He submitted a motion asking America promptly to solve the difficulties standing in tho way of her adhesion to tho Pence Treaty.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
