* TARANAKI SEAT. j MR. BUCKERIDGE AT SMART i ROAD. | Mr. Buckeridgo addressed a meeting at the Smart Road Freezing Works at midday , and was given u , splendid hearing by over I’OO men who were present. He dealt mainly with tho feeling existing between employee and employer and measures that : should bo taken to put the position right. At the conclusion of the candidate’s address a number of questions wore asked. A vote of thanks to Mr. Buckeridgo was carried withr, out dissent. .
Mr. Buckeridgo returned thanks for the compliment paid him by tho attentive hearing and for tho use of tho room in which the meeting was held.
