The New Zealand iaoiuuto oi Architects to-day resolved to express dissatisfaction at the proposed new method of appointing technical school boards and to interview tho Director of Technical Education with the view of arranging for hotter representation on the boards of the various trades and professions taught in the schools. Regarding tho housing scheme it decided to endeavour to have the architectural and layout work done under the direction of ’registered architects in conjunction with the engineering staff of .the local body concerned. It was resolved twit the promotion of competitions for architectural work be discouraged, except tor work of groat public or national importance.
