A complete chain of petrol dumps has been arranged beyond India in connection with the Mai ciusyde flight. Iho machine carries a number or spare parts, propeller, floats, magnetos, wings and other parts are also distributed along the route. >Vhen the floats aro attached to the machines in India armoured propeller's will be used for the rest of the journey as a precaution against splitting the blades in the event of contact with water or laud. The under-carriage will be deposited at X’orb Darwin. The machine has undergone a number of independent tests under a full load by the builders before being handed over the Howell a fortnight ago. The pilot has made frequent flights since.

Ross-Smith cables from Bangkok under date December 1 that he left Rangoon at 7 o'clock and reached Bangkok at 1 o’clock. A heavy storm after Moulmein caused delay and drove him out of his course. Ho followed the river Menam south to Bangkok, finding an excellent reception and assistance provided by tho Siamese Aviation Corps.- Ho hopes to land at Seugora on December 2 and Singapore on December 3. All wore well.

NEW COMPETITOR. FOR AUSTRALIAN FLIGHT. (Received Dec. 2, 9.40 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 28. Lieutenant Parer, of the Royal Air Force, has entered for the Australian flight. Tho Beardmore Aero Engine Company is collaborating with Lieut. Parer on the details of the machine, the construction of which has commenced.
