PAYMENTS TO LABOUR.
VIEWS OP LABOUR COUNCIL. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received Nov. 12, 8.45 a.m.) SYDNEY, Nov. 12. The secretary of tho Labour Council considers that the palliatives suggested in yesterday’s report of the Employers’ Conference would only restrict to a greater measure the output of labour, because the knowledge would be increasing among the workers that they are being deprived of a large portion of the value of their labour. He favoured the suggested payment by results. Workers should got the full value of their labour and nothing should be deducted for any other pur-pose.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
