LABOUR PARTY.

NEW PLYMOUTH BRANCH. A special meeting of the New Plymouth branch of the Labour Patty was hold on Tuesday evening, Mr. Tweedalo presiding over a good attendance of members. The branch delegate to the annual conference, Mr. W. Nash, delivered a report on the findings of the conference. The genera] secretary of the party wrote explaining the object of the Fifty Thousand Half-crown Fund and ways and means of assisting the scheme 'will bo discussed at a future meeting. It was decided in order to extend the activities of the branch to hold educational meetings on Sundays. A resolution was passed unanimously approving the peace manifesto of the annual co'n-. ference.
