PRINCE HENRY OF PRUSSIA. ON THE ORIGIN OF THE WAR. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received August 6, 9 a.m.) AMSTERDAM. August 3. The Hamburger Nachrichten publishes an open letter from Prince Henry of Prussia to King George, declaring that British statesmen engineered the war for the purpose of eliminating German commercial competition. Tho letter suggests that King George approved this policy, and demands that leading British and Allied statesmen be tried by a neutral tribunal rather than the Kaiser, if the Entente really wants to get at tho truth as to the instigation of the war. —Aus.-N.Z.
