GENERAL RATES PUBLIC Notice is hereby given that, in pursuance of the powers vested in it in that behalf by “Tho Rating Act, 1908,” and the amendments thereto, and “Tho Counties Act, 1908,” and the amendments thereto, it is the intention of the Council of tbe County of Egmont, at the ordinary monthly meeting to bo held at the Council Chambers, Opunako, on Tuesday, the 12th day of August, 1919, to make and levy the following general rates on tho capital value of all rateable property within the respective Ridings of tbe County, for the period of twelve months, from the Ist day of April, 1919, to the 31st day of March, 1920, namely: — Oeo Riding.—Two pence (2d) in the £. Opua Riding.—Two pence and fivesixteenths (2 5-16ths pence) in the £. Opunako Riding.—One penny and one half-penny (lad) in the £. Rahotu Riding.—Two pence and fivesixteenths (2 6-16ths pence) in the £. And that such Rates shall be due and become payable in one sum at tbe County Office, Opunake, on tbe 19th day of August, 1919, to tho County Clerk and Rate Collector.
