ELLIOT FAMILY FUND.

Mis Constance Lcatham has kindly offered to give a pianoforte recital at the Good Templar Hall on Thursday, July 3. Among other items from the great composers she will play her winning items at the ChristcJiurch competitions recently. Dr. Leatham has undertaken to hire the hall and place Miss Lcathapi’s own special “Grand” piano on the platform so that the public may look forward to a musical treat seldom presented. A committee is being set up, and tickets will be on sale in a few days. The whole proceeds to go to the Elliot family.

In response to the request of Messrs. Ambiiry Bros, we shall be pleased to receive subscriptions on behalf of the widow and young family of the late Mr. IV. Elliot. It is a case which is deserving of generous assistance and we have Pinch pleasure in acknowledging receipt of the following donations ;
