By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received June 16, 12.55 p.m.)
PARIS, June 6. The strike outlook has improved and compromise has been reached in several industries; others, including the coal-miners, shop-assistants, and clothiers have secured their demands and returned to work. The metal-workers, transporters and railwayman are unruly and’many troops have been drafted in as a precautionary measure and have overawed their meetings. Laundry and electrical workers have joined the strike.
