A Wellington massage, says that private information from London states that cotton is rapidly rising and yarn shows fully 22 j per cent, advance from the bottom price reached in March last. The price of goods is rising correspondingly and the .strength of the demand is increasing. It is expected there will be a further 20 percent. increase nil prices in the first half of June. Messrs. L. A. Nolan an Co. are offering at the mart to-morrow a large catalogue of good and useful, furniture which is well worth inspection.
