BIG FIRE IN' WELLINGTON. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON,'.Tunc 4. A fire in Prouse’s Buildings, Taranaki Street, tins morning did considerable damage. The ground floor was occupied by Gw an Bros, who suffered most. •The second floor was occupied by the Salvation Army’s clothing department, in which damage to the extent of £4500 was suffered. The contents of this floor were slightly damaged. The building was insured for £BOOO in the Commercial and Ocean Companies.
