A series of bomb explosions are repented in “Washington, Boston, Philadephia, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Paterson, New York, and Newtonville (Massachussets). The outrages are attributed to Bolshevik influences. Most of the attempts were made at the. residences of Government and Municipal officials. One bomb, was thrown at the front of the house of United States AttorneyGeneral Palmer’s home, and blew in the front of the house. Palmer’s wife and family were at home when the explosions occurred, and all escaped injury. The police found the limbs of an unidentified man in the street in front of the residence.—Aus.-N.Z. The plot to destroy the homos of judges and State attorneys has spread throughout the United States. Dozens of infernal machines have been found, also a pamphlet showing that anarchists and I.W.W.’s are responsible. There have been few fatalities.
