The House of Lords has decided that bequests for masses for the dead are legal, reversing the judgment of the Court of Appeal. TROUBLE IN EGYPT NOT ENDED. SYDNEY, June 3. The Australian Press loam* that the industrial trouble continues in Egypt, including the canal employees at Suez and Port Said. The naval and military forces are assisting to handle the canal traffic, and so far there has- been no serious delay to the ships. BOLSHEVIST PLOT IN FINLAND. (Received June 4, 11.43 a.m.) LONDON, June 3. A Bolshevist plot is reported to have been suppressed in Finland. Its object was the overturning of the Government. MINERS’ STRIKE IN FRANCE. (Received June. 4, 11.50 a.m.) PARIS, June 3. There is a general subway strike and 50,000 miners are idle in the Pas de Calais district.
