" PANIC AT PICTURE SHOW. By Telegraph—Press As-i-a.— Copyright. PARIS, June 2. While the Joan of Arc celebrations were being held at Valence several thousand people, mostly women and children, attended a cinema show. A film ignited, and a- panic followed, 60 being killed and over 100 injured. Most of the injuries were due to the victims being trampled.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn. At the Joan of Arc celebrations at Valence, owing to the panic when the film ignited, there were SO deaths, including 20 women and 20 children who were suffocated. EXPLOSION AT MUNITION WORKS.
