LONDON POLICE STRIKE.

CAUSE OF POSTPONEMENT.

LONDON, June 2. The postponement of the police strike is explained by the fact that the leaders of tho Police Union hope to receive the support of the Triple Alliance, who hold a conference at Southport, on the 24th.
