CYNIC WINS GREAT NORTHERN HURDLES. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 1. The Auckland Racing Club’s winter meeting opened in splendid weather. The course was holding, consequent upon tiie recent heavy rains. There was a large attendance, the totuHsator handling £60,238 as against £-39,453 ior the corresponding day last year.
