CAPETOWN, May 26. Replying to a question in tho Assemblyj tho Acting-Premier stated that the Government was bringing in legislation to give effect to the principles of tho mandate for German South-West Africa, but not this session. It is not intended to throw open the territory before tho peace, but meanwhile it is being surveyed ffith a view to settlement. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
