ELTHAM v. STRATFORD

The Eltham and Stratford men’s teams played at Stratford on Thursday, the game resulting in a win for Eltham by two goals to one. The scorers were P. Tromner, for Eltham, and Read, for Stratfoi-d.

In a ladies’ match between Stratford and Eltham, Stratford won by live goals to two. Tbe scorers for Elllmm were Mi sses W. Honrickseu and Hilda Glentwood; and Misses N. and C. Songster for Stratford. Mr. Pennington, refereed.

During the above match Miss Strack, an Eltham player, was .struck on the neck with the ball. She retired from ibo game, and while Conversing with a lady a few minutes later fainted. She was taken to a neighbouring bouse an<|, medical attention summoned.
