COMMEMORATED 7N NEW ■ PLYMOUTH. A holiday was observed in New Plymouth to-day in commemoration of , Anzac Day. Flags were flying from Government buildings and many of the business places. There | were church services in the morning and a large procession of returned soldiers in the afternoon. OAMARU, April 25. Anzac Day was observed by a full holiday in beautiful weather. The combined services in the morning were attended by largo numbers of returned soldiers. There was a fete in the gardens in the afternoon. WANGANUI, April 25. Hi ere was beautiful weather for Anzac Day. The memorial services were largely attended in the morning, and the foundation of tho new Soldiers’ Club was laid in the afternoon, when there was a big attendance. GREYMOUTH, April 25. ■ There was beautiful weather for Anzac Day.- A close holiday was observed. There were church parados at all tho churches in the morning, and n procession in the afternoon. An Anzac ball is to bo held this evening.
